X/Twitter Link Post Limits in SocialBu

Learn how many X/Twitter link posts you can publish per day and per month in SocialBu, and what counts as a link post.

SocialBu applies separate limits to X/Twitter posts that include links. These limits are in addition to normal publishing limits.

What counts as a link post?

  • An X/Twitter post with a URL in the main post text.

  • An X/Twitter threaded reply with a URL.

Each linked post or linked threaded reply counts separately. For example, if the main post has one URL and two threaded replies also contain URLs, that counts as 3 link posts.

Current plan limits

  • Free: 2 link posts per day and 20 per month.

  • Starter: 4 link posts per day and 40 per month.

  • Growth: 10 link posts per day and 100 per month.

  • Agency: 20 link posts per day and 300 per month.

Legacy plan limits

  • Standard: 4 link posts per day and 40 per month.

  • Super: 10 link posts per day and 100 per month.

  • Supreme: 20 link posts per day and 300 per month.

What happens when the limit is reached?

SocialBu stops the X/Twitter link post and shows a message explaining that the link post limit has been reached. You can try again after the daily or monthly limit resets, or publish an X/Twitter post without a link if it meets normal publishing rules.

How to avoid hitting the limit

  • Use links only where needed.

  • Avoid adding the same link to every threaded reply.

  • Spread link-heavy campaigns across multiple days.
