Newly Connected Account Not Appearing in Post Composer

After connecting a social account, it should usually appear in the Post Composer soon after setup. If it does not appear, the account may still be syncing, inactive, disconnected, or unavailable to your current team permissions.

Quick checks

  1. Refresh SocialBu and open Publish again.

  2. Go to Accounts and confirm the account is connected and active.

  3. If you are working inside a team, make sure the account is added to that team.

  4. Ask the team owner/admin to confirm you have permission to create or edit posts for that team.

  5. Try a hard refresh or another browser to rule out local cache issues.

Why this happens

The Post Composer only shows accounts that are active and available to the current user. Team accounts can also be hidden if your member permissions do not allow creating or editing posts.

When to contact support

If the account is active, permissions look correct, and it still does not appear after a few minutes, contact SocialBu support with your SocialBu email, the social network, the account name, and a screenshot of the Post Composer.
